Born and raised in New York City, Linda Jo Rizzo came to Germany in the 80’s while on tour with her former girl group, “The Flirts”. Their hit song “Passion” entered the top ten charts in Germany and other European and Asian countries. Producer Bobby Orlando (Pet Shop Boys, Divine) went on to produce further hits for Linda and “The Flirts” such as “Danger, Helpless, and Calling All Boys”.

In 1985 Linda leaves the group „The Flirts“ to persue a solo career. Under the production of “Fancy”, a famous 80’s star himself, Linda enters the dance charts with songs such as, “You’re My First, You’re My Last”, “Heartflash”, “Perfect Love” and “Fly Me High”. These songs are also featured on several successful “Italo Boot Mixes”.

Linda’s “Passion” for the stage, her charisma, and interaction with her audiences, combined with her NewYork-Italien-American temperament, earns her great success with her fans all over the world. She is known for her entertainment and is often referred to by the audiences at her shows and events as the “Power Lady”.

2013: Worldwide release of new album „Day of the Light“ with new productions and mixes of her earlier dance hits plus new titles with an 80’s flair.

Duett production and video clip release of “Out of the Shadows” with new US artist TQ.

(both “Day of the Light” and “Out of the Shadows” also appear on the ZYX “New Generation Volume III” album)

Special Mega-Maxi-Mix Album „Flirts feat. Linda Jo Rizzo – Passion of Disco” in honor of the 30th anniversary of the group “The Flirts” with new productions of Linda’s earlier Flirts hits and more.

2014: Worldwide release of new ZYX production and video clip, „Stronger Together“, featuring „Fancy“. (song appears on ZYX “New Generation Volume IV” album)

2015: US album release “Fly Me High” by Space Sound Records-ZYX Music. US single release of “Life Is a Story” featuring TQ.

2016: Re-release of „Day of the Light“ album in special 80’s mix, start production on a special album “Linda Jo Rizzo and Friends” featuring duets with many star colleagues of Linda such as peter Kent, Ryan Paris, Saragossa Band, Bad Boys Blue, Ken Laszlo, Albert One, and many more……

2017: Release of “Day of the Light Re-Loaded”, produced by Johann Perrier, further studio work on “Linda Jo Rizzo and Friends of the 80’s”, production start of a new album with a more international commercial pop sound with a touch of crossover country music., arranged and produced by Norbert Daum, written by Linda Jo Rizzo and Dennis O’Neill.
